Helena Gao is a Danish-Chinese singer, songwriter and producer. In her self-titled project she operates as all three. Coming from a multicultural background, she’s had bittersweet encounters with the feeling of not fitting the mold. She expresses that through music that forces the unbothered experimentalist and the pleasing pop star to coexist.
