Biography

Director, producer and cinematographer Miryam Charles lives in Montreal. She has produced several short and feature-length fiction films. Her first art-house short Vole vole Tristesse (2015) tackles the theme of social struggles. Winner of the Prix de la meilleure œuvre d’ art et expérimentation des Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma, this film introduced Miryam Charles as a filmmaker.
