Mostafa Oskooyi was an Iranian theater director, actor, and arts critic, recognized as a pioneer in Iranian theater. Born in Tehran, he pursued acting studies in his hometown before specializing in direction at the Moscow State Institute of Performing Arts, graduating in 1955.
