Biography
Taygeti was born in Athens and her theatrical studies include the National Theater Academy of Greece. She made her first appearance on stage in the mid 40s. Shortly after she was arrested for her left-wing beliefs, was imprisoned and exiled. She suffered tortures at the hands of her guardians but she never abandoned her ideology.
