A Comparative Literature student, Anindya Bose began writing songs while he was still studying and soon went on to bring about a drastic change in Bengali cinema. A musician, singer, and screenwriter, Anindya formed the band Parash Pathar in the 1990s along with Ayan Banerjee and Kingshuk Chakraborty, where he was the lead singer and lyricist.
