Overview

After graduating from college, Sung-Ha enters a Canadian investment company and develops into a talented businessman. However, after a single mistake, he receives his discharge notice. In desolation, he spends his days drinking and gambling. Then Sung-Ha falls in love with a woman called Phoebe, whom he meets accidentally in the subway station, and who reminds him of his abused mother. Phoebe is a street walker with incurable pains, who was sexually abused by her stepfather. For her, tequila, sex, and drugs are the only means by which to end her pain and support herself. She meets a warm-hearted, ever-loving man who gives her the courage to live on. These are two people trying to ease their pains, a happy couple...
